Martin and Susan's Madeira Trip

We spent a week on Madeira in November 2006. It's not a big island, but the scenery is dramatic, with plenty of 2000 foot drops. The island has some of the highest sea-cliffs in Europe.

We did several hikes, chosen with care to avoid the most vertiginous sections.
